About me
I’m Natalie Saroya — owner of Saroya Psychotherapy & Registered Psychotherapist-Qualifying with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My status with the CRPO enables me to offer virtual therapy sessions to individuals across Canada.
What brought me to this profession?
I have worked in business contexts for 15 years, but have always been fascinated by human psychology. During my corporate career, I came to realize that I am passionate about helping people grow into the best versions of themselves. Counselling is more than just a job to me — I feel honoured and fulfilled when I get to help clients feel heard and understood, develop coping skills that improve their lives, and maximize their overall well-being.
What to expect from me as your therapist
My aim is to learn about the concerns that brought you to therapy, your past and present life experiences, your therapy goals, and how you like to work (E.g. do you want your therapist to challenge you? Teach you new skills? Just listen?). From here, we will come up with a personalized plan to help you achieve your goals.
My style
I am approachable, compassionate, empathetic, unconditionally supportive, and warm. Clients I have worked with in the past have shared that therapy sessions with me feel like a regular conversation. It is critical for you to feel comfortable with your therapist. Research shows that a strong therapist-client relationship is one of the most important contributors to positive therapy outcomes. This is why I offer a free 15-minute virtual consultation to allow you to feel out if we could be a good fit to work together.
