Online anxiety therapy in Ontario
Anxiety therapy can help you understand what keeps the worry going and learn ways to quiet your mind and body. We offer online sessions for adults across Ontario, starting with a free 20-minute consult.

What anxiety can feel like
You spend a lot of time in your head. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and run through the worst-case version of things. You want to relax and trust yourself, but your mind always seems to find something new to worry about. Even when life looks fine from the outside, your body might feel tense, restless or tired.
Anxiety can show up as:
- Racing thoughts or “what if” thinking that’s hard to switch off
- Trouble relaxing because your mind keeps going
- A tight chest or racing heart
- Overanalyzing texts, conversations or decisions
- Feeling on edge or easily overwhelmed
- Avoiding things because they feel like too much
How can therapy help with anxiety?
We start by getting curious about your anxiety: when it shows up, what sets it off, and what it’s trying to protect you from. From there, we work on:
- Noticing the thought patterns that keep worry going
- Tools to calm your body when anxiety spikes
- Getting more comfortable with uncertainty
- Quieting self-doubt and the inner critic
- Feeling more grounded and more like yourself
What sessions look like
Sessions are a mix of talking things through and practical work. We draw from CBT, mindfulness and body-based techniques, so we work with both your thoughts and how anxiety feels in your body. You’ll leave most sessions with something small to try, never homework you’ll feel bad about skipping.
Is this a good fit?
This may be a good fit if you:
- Feel stuck in overthinking or worry
- Struggle to relax, even on days off
- Are going through a stressful change at work, at home or in a relationship
- Want practical tools, not only someone to listen
Common questions
How long does anxiety therapy take?
It depends on what you’re dealing with and what you want to change. Some people come for a handful of sessions (we often see progress after 5-6 sessions), while others stay longer to work on deeper patterns. We’ll check in regularly about how it’s going.
Do I need a diagnosis to start?
No. Many people start with a feeling that something’s off. That’s enough.
What if I get anxious on video calls?
That’s common. You can keep your video off if you prefer. Video helps your therapist better read your reactions, but we can aim to work up to it.
